it is said that main reason to
get this name Irumbuzhi
( Irumb= iron +uzhi = soil) for
this area is that the soil of
this land is ample of iron ore.
This area which rests between Kattungal of Malappuram Municipality
and Panayi
in same Panchayath
comprises six bus-stops
( Puluyenghal, Mannatthippara,
Mannamppara, Alikkaparamba, Thorappappara
and Chirakkaparanmba)
Today,
Thorappappara is known as
Post Office junction and Chirakkapparamba is known as High Schoolppadi. The main six wards
